Go Negosyo’s free one-on-one mentoring session finally arrived in Quezon City last August 24, 2018.
Mentor Me On Wheels (MMOW) reached its seventh stop at The Block Atrium, Quezon City after its successful legs in Metro Manila, Laguna, Batangas, Pampanga, Davao, and Albay. This program is a joint initiative of Go Negosyo and the Department of Trade and Industry that aims to bring mentorship closer to all Filipinos.
Over 700 aspiring and budding entrepreneurs registered and joined the free 30-minute 1-on-1 mentoring session regarding entrepreneurial mind-setting and marketing.
“This event really inspires both sides, -- not just the mentees but also the mentors,” Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship and Go Negosyo Founder Joey Concepcion said as he led the mentoring session. He also highlighted the essence of mentorship in empowering MSMEs to achieve prosperity in their businesses.
“We have seen the businesses in Quezon City grow from 65,000 to 75,000, so we are doing all our best to make sure that we remain a business-friendly city, if not even more friendly than it is today. One of our thrusts is to improve the environment for micro small and medium scale enterprises as well as social enterprises, which is my personal advocacy,” shared Quezon City Vice Mayor Josefina "Joy" Belmonte-Alimurung whose presence also graced the event.
