CELEBRITY CAR WARS

CELEBRITY CAR WARS
29 Aug, Mondays 10pm (SIN/HK), 9pm (BKK/JKT)
28 Aug, Sundays 9pm (PH)

Celebrity Car Wars is a rollicking, new hour-long action reality series that is a mix of competition, fun, rivalries and adventure.

We’ve assembled 6 of Asia’s most famous, socially connected, articulate and gorgeous celebrities. They may be hot but can they drive?

To help them along their 8-week road of automotive adventure we’ve added a couple of motor racing experts to teach them the tricks of the trade (“the brake is the one on the left”).

The most fragile substance on planet earth is known to be the Celebrity Ego and it is sure to come under threat as our 6 celebs undertake weekly challenges that put their driving skills to the test, under the bemused eye of host Bobby Tonelli.

After each challenge the Celebs gain points towards the ultimate prize: entry into the ‘Celebrity Car Wars Hall of Fame’, a club so exclusive it has no members.

EPISODIC GUIDE

Episode 1: DON’T HIT THE WALL
29 Aug,Monday 10pm(SIN/HK)/28 Aug, Sunday 9pm(PH)

In this opening round of Celebrity Car Wars our celebs post a car racing hot lap during their first time trial, but for one of them at least, it all goes horribly wrong.  Celebs then complete a braking challenge by hitting a speed of 80kph, hit the brakes and NOT hit a brick wall.

Episode 2:    DON’T HIT THE ANCIENT ARCHWAY
5 Sep, Monday 10pm(SIN/HK)/4 Sep, Sunday 9pm(PH)

Round 1 saw Allan Wu survive the crash but will a 16th century fortress survive Allan Wu? Celebs must reverse a hot dog trailer though an ancient archway then race each other in the Celebrity Car Wars Karting Showdown.

Episode 3:    DON’T HIT THE FIRE HYRDRANT
12 Sep, Monday 10pm(SIN/HK)/11 Sep, Sunday 9pm(PH)

The dark automotive art of drifting isn’t all smoking tyres and screeching brakes (although we admit that is seriously cool). Our celebs discover that it requires some serious skill. Then it’s a case of the blind leading the blind in our Pressure Parking Challenge.

Episode 4:    DON’T HIT ROCK BOTTOM
19 Sep, Monday 10pm(SIN/HK)/18 Sep, Sunday 9pm(PH)

The Celebs think they will be racing exotic cars, which turns out to be true (well, sort of) then it’s time to get down and dirty as the Celebs climb into what is essentially a “Meccano” set with a V6 engine strapped to it. Their Mission? To conquer an off road course known simply as “Big Rock”.

Episode 5:    DON’T HIT THE MALL
26 Sep, Monday 10pm(SIN/HK)/25 Sep, Sunday 9pm(PH)

In this round the Celebs hit a Shopping Mall (literally) in crazy mayhem that is the “Uptown Mall Obstacle Course”, then go head to head in the Celebrity Car Wars World Drag Race across the mighty Sacobia River Bridge.

Episode 6:    DON’T HIT THE WALL…AGAIN
3 Oct, Monday 10pm(SIN/HK)/2 Oct, Sunday 9pm(PH)

The Celebs return to the track to improve their Hot Lap times (and NOT smash into a wall). One Celeb has a meltdown and former F1 racer Alex Yoong steps up as a Mentor. The Celebs’ competitive claws come out when they are forced to team up for the Pit Stop Challenge.

Episode 7:    DON’T HIT THE REFEREE
10 Oct, Monday 10pm(SIN/HK)/9 Oct, Sunday 9pm(PH)

The Celebs are given a small amount of money to go out and buy a car, bring it back to Celebrity Car Wars Headquarters and pimp it up. They then team up for a game of Car Football. Former F1 driver Alex Yoong steps in as Referee (and quickly wishes he hadn’t).

Episode 8:    DON’T HIT YOUR LIMIT
17 Oct, Monday 10pm(SIN/HK)/16 Oct, Sunday 9pm(PH)
