MISTERS OF FILIPINAS OFFICIAL CANDIDATES PRESENTED TO THE MEDIA
The official candidates of Misters of Filipinas 2016 were formally presented to the media last August 28 at the One Canvas Events Place in Makati, 27 of the most gorgeous men in the country today are vying for the right to represent the Philippines in various international pageants.
The candidates walked the runway as they were introduced to the media. The men, who come from various backgrounds and are representing various cities, municipalities, and provinces in the country, all hope to follow the footsteps of Mister International 2014 Neil Perez and Man of the Year 2016 Karan Singhdole.
"We are so happy and honored to have these men competing for Misters of Filipinas," mentioned PEPPS President Carlo Morris Galang. "For us, they are not jsut competitors in our pageant, but an addition to our growing family," he further said.
The Shorlisted 27
This year's candidates total 27 instead of the original 30 as previously mentioned. PEPPS Director for Legal Affairs Richard Montoya explains.
"We were supposed to have 30, but there were uncontrollable circumstances that did not allow 3 aspirants to continue," Montoya adds. "Its was mostly either a conflict with the Candidate Agreement that they signed or their inability to secure requirements which we have already reminded them almost a month agio with continuous follow-up. In the end, we have to adhere to our policies."
