Camayan Beach Resort & Restaurant Staycation

It’s really a fantastic blogger’s getaway…

We arrived safely at Camayan Beach Resort and Restaurant. The organizer , Mr. Jaebi Murillo and his assistant Mr. Arjay De Guzman welcomed us with their beautiful smiles.  Chef Emmar Nuevo, the executive Chef and lovely staff served us a welcome drink at the Turtle’s Nest, but not only that, they also prepared delicious appetizers and vegetable salad specially for us, before our main course for lunch while informing us the schedule for the day.  They also offered "Fish Feeding" wherein we actively participated, throwing the pieces of bread into the sea seeing the small and big fishes with an amazing view of the Ocean.

We proceed to the Hotel Main Lobby for Check-In at 02:15pm.  Camayan Beach Resort has 85 rooms which can accommodate different numbers of  guest, whether you are a couple, family or part of the big group. The resort also has huts and cottages for those who just want to spend a day on the beach.  The resort was beautifully landscaped and it doesn't feel very built-up as trees are giving shade and covering to the resort buildings. Walking around felt very relaxing!

After we checked-In, we gathered to the Seahorse Function Room for our proper Lunch.   Wow... we really appreciate the expertise of The Dining Supervisors, Leo Laverio and Christine Gocotano for the creativeness of the desserts presentation was really nicely.  Foods served per table for a group of 10.  They brought in Filipino dishes one at a time “na para kaming tinatakam sa sarap ng presentation, amoy at lasa” from Kare-Kare, Bulalo, Crispy Pata, Lechon Kawali, Grilled Salmon, Pinakbet,  and a lot more.

After the hefty lunch cum merienda, is our free time to explore the resort.  So we went to our respective rooms to enjoy our staycation.  They gave us this very spacious room which pretty much have everything you need like Flat Screen TV, Free Wifi, Mini Refrigerator, Water, Coffee/Tea, and much more.  We enjoyed the view from our second floor veranda. It was overlooking the nice garden and sea view was really great.

Weather was perfect!  We took a dip at the beach. They have a swimming and snorkeling area. Make sure you have your masks and flippers with you otherwise, you can just rent one in their dive shop.

Come nighttime again, we were all amazed with the set-up of Buffet Dinner at the Beach front. It was really romantic, especially with red carpet, dressed-up table & Chair, and fabulous buffet table with perfect lightning combinations.  The food was great and the staff were really friendly, always responding with big smiles on their faces.
